House of Noir is a premium hair studio based in Duncan, BC — a team of talented stylists who take their craft seriously and needed a website that matched their energy. The brief was clear: sophisticated, editorial, and built to turn website visitors into booked clients. The previous digital presence didn't reflect the quality of the work being done inside the salon, and that needed to change.

What Was Built

‍

The site was built entirely in Webflow with a GSAP-powered animation layer that gives every scroll interaction a cinematic, intentional feel. Stylist profile pages, a full services and pricing menu, and a seamlessly integrated Square Appointments booking system were all built and wired in cleanly. The design language leans into rich contrast, refined serif typography, and photography-forward layouts — the kind of site that makes a visitor stop and actually read. Mobile experience was treated as a first-class deliverable, not an afterthought.

Key Achievements

Completed a comprehensive production audit covering alt text, ARIA labels, heading hierarchy, canonical tags, and structured data — ensuring the site performs well in both accessibility audits and organic search rankings. The Square Appointments integration removed all friction from the booking journey, making it a one-tap experience on mobile. House of Noir now has a digital presence that commands the same level of respect as the in-salon experience — and a booking flow that proves it.
